Giving confidence
There are many criteria that determine your choice of accountant or tax adviser, but one requirement is constant: certainty. And we don’t mean the certainty that figures have been correctly entered and added up. What you are looking for is a guarantee that the best possible route is being prepared for your business to take, in terms of finance, tax and strategy.
The RSM professionals can advise you on a wide range of issues from audit and assurance, consulting, tax, risk advisory, restructuring, transaction and business and financial advisory solutions. As well as these core services, our firm also offer a wide range of specialist services, such as International tax planning, transfer pricing, family owned offices, estate planning, transaction advisory and real estate.
RSM has 8 offices in The Netherlands, including in Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Hoofddorp. Excellent cooperation between them enables us to provide a high standard of service. For example, you are always assured of up-to-date advice and any changes in national and international legislation can be anticipated. To provide cross-border services in over 120 countries, we use this RSM network consisting of over 810 offices and more than 64,000 professionals.
Border shouldn’t be barriers
Contact a Dutch accountant before arrival to the Netherlands, to get your legal structure right from the start and to take advantage of the many tax benefits that the Netherlands have to offer. An example would be the Dutch 30% ruling, which offers a significant tax advantage to companies operating in the Netherlands for hiring non-Dutch employees and bringing them over to the Netherlands. What we see in practice is that companies sometimes contact us once the employment contract has been signed and the foreign employee is already in The Netherlands. In many such cases, a few of the crucial conditions have not been met (entirely) and the ruling is not provided. Ideally, the first contact moment should be (way) before signing the employment contract to make sure all the conditions for this favourable tax exemption are met.
